Train Track Teaches

Physical journey sometimes takes us near to structure & incident which brings us closer to our journey spiritual...

I started my journey (14214 Intercity Express)from a railway station ('Ayodhya' India) whose architecture resembles to a 'Hindu' temple...because this is the place where one of the ancient Indian prophet 'Rama' was born to (picture 1).

As 'Hindus' regard monkeys a sacred animal....such protection have caused an increase of their number in tons in and around the city including the railway station (picture 2).

Railway station itself carries many plaques inscribed with the golden spiritual meaningful teachings, as one in the picture reads a deep spiritual philosophy of life: (picture 2)

जनम मरन सब सुख दुःख भोगा, हानि लाभ प्रिय मिलन वियोगा.
काल करम बस होहि गोसाई, बरबस राति दिवस की नाही. (in Hindi)
Bliss & curse of birth & death; loss-profits....love & separation to be lived !!

'Time' just works that way; the way night & day follows each !! (translation)

And as I moved on the track....found the remains of a train (13009 Doon Express) accident just occurred the previous day (31st May), which toll 5 lives (picture 3 & 4).

Reached finally to my destined station with a multitude of humans as usual....oblivious to the incident/accident (picture 5) of any sort..

..and the railway station ('Varanasi', India) again had a look of religious symbol of another kind, the "Wheel" (central theme of Buddha's sermons)....from a youngest Prophet/Religion of India (picture 6).

Such is the journey....we call life....which just moves on in the ocean of 'Time' !!

#the train accident referred above occurred on 31st may 2012 near mehrawa station in between jaunpur & shahganj stations at 1:10 pm, much loss averted as driver surendra bahadur controlled train's speed from 90 kms/hour to 20 within 20 seconds by applying emergency break of the ill fated train 13009 up.
